A Walk in the Park

We consider ourselves to be incredibly fortunate to be living in such an amazing part of the country.  Southern Oregon, the Rogue Valley, Ashland...we've got it all.  I think it was in the cards for us to live here as it's been nearly a year and we are still in awe.  I hope we never stop feeling this way.

Here's the thing, when your home is your business and your business is your home, it's a good idea to purposely leave the home/business from time to time, if even for a walk in the park. And isn't it lucky that we have the most stunning park right in the heart of our town?  And even better, it's just a 10-minute quick stroll from the inn. Lithia Park is really something very special.  Two ducks ponds, a playground for children, several designated picnic areas, tennis courts, ice skating in the winter, a Japanese garden, a band shell with an expanse of lawn for picnics in the summer, a perfectly aligned grove of Sycamore trees, a dedicated wading spot in the river, a swimming reservoir, the miles of trails and of course, Ashland Creek running right through the middle of the park.

I can't say enough about the park so don't be surprised if from time to time I post more photos, especially with spring just around the corner!  But for now, here is a walk in the park for you to experience, if only through photos.  When you come to Ashland (and stay at Abigail's, of course) you'll be able to take your own walk in the park.
