One Bar at A Time

HA!  I bet that title caught your attention, didn't it?  Well, I had to have a little fun with you. I am talking about bars though, bars of soap that is.  I just readied our first shipment of used soaps, shampoos and hand lotions, which we recycle through Clean the World.

We collect the used products when we clean a room.
Bag the product and label the bags.
9.9 lbs of products on its way to helping save lives.
Last season it killed me to throw away all of the half-used products and I knew there had to be a better way.  If you've been following us since the beginning, you'll remember we joined Clean the World several months ago.  This graph, copied from the Clean the World website, demonstrates the major causes of death in children under five and the number of lives that have been saved through proper hygiene.  We are humbled to be a participating partner with an organization that has such a simple message and such a worthwhile global cause. You don't have to be an innkeeper to help make a difference, make a donation to this incredible organization today.
